In a letter dated December 22, 2009 the Oregon Cultural Trust confirmed addition of the Pendleton Round-Up Foundation to the Trust’s list of eligible cultural organizations.  Addition of the Foundation to the eligible list allows a donor who makes a contribution to the Foundation to make a matching gift to the trust and therefore become eligible for Oregon’s innovative cultural tax credit.   If you have contributed to the Foundation in tax year 2009 and want to take advantage of this opportunity you should discuss the details with your personal tax advisor.  The Oregon Cultural Trust’s website can also provide valuable information  www.culturaltrust.org regarding this opportunity.   A copy of the Oregon Cultural Trust’s approval letter can be obtained by contacting the Round-Up office.
