Taylor Jerome, 18, is the daughter of Troy and Marcy Jerome of Pendleton. She has performed in the show for since she waJerome, Taylor Kathleens 6 and performs as a street walker and an emigrant.  She volunteers in other capacities with her church, Pendleton Free Methodist and is a member of the Green Club at PHS. She has a 3.5 grade point average.

Jerome, who is employed by Big John’s Pizza, is a member of the high school tennis and volleyball teams as well as the Prostart Culinary Team. She has already earned 19 credits from Eastern Oregon University and is working on 12 college credits through PHS. She plans to study social work at EOU in La Grande and wants to work with juvenile delinquents and troubled children.

O'Grady, Jennifer

Jennifer O’Grady, 17, is the daughter of the Rev. Ray and Julie O’Grady of Pendleton. She’s worked for Happy Canyon as an usher for five years, serving as head usher the last two years.  O’Grady is active as a volunteer throughout the community including being PHS Link Crew leader, Outdoor School counselor, College Community Theatre and Christmas outreach in Sergeant City. She has 4.29 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.

In high school, her many activities include lettering for four years in choir and as a cheerleader. She is also a Citizenship Cup recipient and was given the individual leadership award by the National Cheerleaders Association. She will be attending Life Pacific College in San Dimas, Calif. where she will study ministry and leadership or Biblical studies. as well as music.

Rossi, Kyle David

Kyle Rossi, 18, is the son of Dave and Christi Rossi of Pendleton. He’s volunteered in many capacities for Happy Canyon, among them as a cast member, grounds crew, stage set up and take down for events in the Happy Canyon Arena, the pit crew and as a parade participant. He has a2.69 GPA.

At Pendleton High School, Rossi has participated in football, track, and swim team, served as an officer in FFA, and received two awards for outstanding achievement in English.  He works at Zimmerman’s Hardware and also volunteers for the Round-Up fence crew. He will major in agriculture at Blue Mountain Community College while obtaining his welding certificate.

Stuvland, Christopher

Christopher Stuvland, 18, is the son of David and Susie Stuvland of Pendleton. He began appearing in the show at the age of 2 and has held several roles, most recently taking part in the Dr. Hal sequence. He has also worked on the grounds committee as needed. He has a 3.0 GPA. He also volunteers for Round-Up, is an Eagle Scout and is active in other areas throughout the community.

At PHS, he has lettered in swimming, is the president of FFA and was the 2008 recipient of the Ole Groupe scholarship. He has also served as a speaker for fifth grade students graduating from the DARE program and represented Pendleton at the FFA national leadership conference. He will attend Blue Mountain Community College, majoring in agriculture business with a minor in communications and transfer to a four-year college after earning his associate’s degree.

Talbot, Jake

Jake Talbot, 17, is the son of Joe and Susan Talbot of Pendleton. He has performed in the cast at Happy Canyon since he was 6 months old. Since then he has held several roles and, for the past two years, took a role on horseback. Elsewhere in the community he has volunteered in many capacities including as a cadet teacher and a camp assistant for the Little Bucks Football Camp. He has a 3.23 GPA.

At Pendleton High School he has lettered in football, competed for the Intermountain High School Rodeo Team where he made the state finals in 2009 and lettered in baseball, where he was named to the first team in conference play. He plans to earn an associate’s degree at BMCC and transfer to a four-year college for a bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
