June 26th 2010, will commemorate the Bronze Unveiling and Centennial Plaza Dedication

The bronze will be unveiled just after 11:30am, with a dedication to the Centennial Plaza also taking place at this time.  Following the dedication & unveiling, the community is invited to stay and enjoy the celebration with activities following at Roy Raley Park, located to the east of the arena.     In the park you will enjoy the following entertainment:  The Mounted Band.  Both Round-Up and Happy Canyon Courts will be signing posters and pictures.  Austin Barton, the artist of the bronze, will be on hand to visit and take questions.  The Westward HO! Grand Marshals will be available to meet and greet.  There will be tee pees up to step inside and back into history.  The Zac Grooms Band will be playing live music.  Pony Rides, Stickers and Face painting will be taking place for the kids.  The BMCC Robo Bull will be there for those who would like to give their 8 seconds a go.  There will be a demonstration in the arena by the Hermiston Mounted Shooters.  Trick Ropers will be in the park, as will be students from BMCC who will demonstrate roping techniques   There will be 50 of the West End bleachers which will be branded at the event and available for sale- it will be your last chance to own a piece of the history as these will be the final fifty bleachers.      There will be Hot Dogs to the first 2000 people and Swire Coke will provide beverages.
